Having used hypnotherapy to finally rid myself of my fear of exposed heights the previous year, all that remained was the challenge of mountain guide Nigel Shepherd who helped me over Crib Goch on that momentous occasion, but warned me with a mischievous grin that no-one could really call themselves a mountaineer until they had reached the top of Tryfan via its north ridge.

With that in mind I returned to my normal adventuring companions, Stuart and David Morris and together we set about the north ridge, though this time the scrambling was always enjoyable, with my hypnotherapy still working a treat on the hairier sections.
Having enjoyed playing around with video for Crib Goch, I couldn't resist doing something with the footage from Tryfan, for the funny DVD my friends and I put together each year.
